On Jan. 21 I was asked to sing the national anthem for the University of Toledo basketball game against Northern Illinois. I was so excited and nervous, but it went awesome! I thought I was home free after I was done, but 4 minutes till halftime I was mistaken! The halftime show was stuck in Chicago because of weather, so I was asked to sing during the Halftime show as well! I sang "Whenever you Remember" by Carrie Underwood, which was my talent song for Miss Ohio 2006. I also got to sign some autographs for a group of adorable kids! It was a great experience and I hope to be able to do it again sometime!
