Hi there everyone! I'm sorry I haven't updated you earlier, but I couldn't find Internet signal here in Hoopeston, IL. I've been here since Monday representing Ohio at the Miss National Sweetheart 2008 pageant with state runner-ups from everywhere, even Alaska and Hawaii(who are both lovely)! We've toured a bean factory, the PAM cooking spray factory, a local farm and I learned to drive a tractor! I've had a wonderful time so far making new friends, learning about other states, and competing! I have been rooming with Miss Massachusetts and she is awesome and so much fun! I've really enjoyed my time with her! In my car I have had my roommate, New York and Colorado and we have had a blast together!
On Thursday I had my interview with our judges and I feel very confident and proud of the job I did! I felt that it couldn't have gone better(but we'll see what tips the judges have for me)! Last night (Friday)I performed my talent, "Gold" and it also felt wonderful! My parents and directors, Linda and Eric Wagener, attended the show and thought it went great! Tonight I will be competing in Swimsuit, Evening Gown, and On-Stage Question! Keep your fingers crossed!
I will try to update my blog tomorrow or when I return home on Monday & I will post pictures as soon as I can!
