This Saturday I attended the 1 year anniversary hog roast at Primrose Retirement Community! I was so excited to go see my friends at Primrose and was delighted to see all of them and meet a few more friends. I sat with my best buddy Jim for dinner and caught up with my "coach" Gene and his friends too! It was a great time with Really great food!
I was also so excited to see some Miss Ohio Board members and our Miss Ohio 2008, Karissa Martin for the first time since competition in June! She looked great and was very excited for her official Miss America Events to begin. The Miss America "lottery" is this evening (Monday) for all of the contestants to choose their competition order! She leaves for Miss America Reality Check on Sept 21st and the finals of Miss America are January 24 so she will leave mid-January! How exciting! Good Luck Karissa, We are all still praying for you and so excited to hear about your successes!
